‘Jim and the Beanstalk’ by Raymond Briggs

I’m posting today’s read aloud as a tribute to Raymond Briggs, who died on Wednesday (10/08/22) at the age of 88.

This is one of my favourite Raymond Briggs’ picture books. I remember my mum (Marian Shaw) having her own copy of ‘Jim and the Beanstalk’ when she taught at Russell Street First School in Stony Stratford, Buckinghamshire in the 1980s. I found the book I used for the YouTube recording in a local charity shop.
