Julia Warren and her family moved to Ledbury in July, 2000. Her husband started teaching at John Masefield High School in September, 2000. Their three children grew up in the town and attended Ledbury Primary School, before moving onto John Masefield High School and John Masefield Sixth Form.
Julia initially trained as a primary school teacher (1988-1992), qualifying as an Every Child a Reader teacher in 2011. Her practice has benefitted from a wide range of experience teaching children and young people in a variety of settings.
While running her literacy intervention business (2013-2019), Julia wrote a blog on her previous website, ‘Learning to read and write’.
